Trustworthy Services offers Pet First Aid courses to anyone who wants to learn how best to keep their furry friends safe and well.

The course will teach you about the vet and your role as a Pet First Aider, how to keep your pet safe in an emergency, pet-proofing your home and how to check your pet's health.

 

You'll understand how pets show pain and explore different animals' needs, including older dogs, small dogs; cats; puppies and smaller animals.  The course includes:

  • Handling car accidents

  • Breathing and respiratory problems including choking

  • Dog CPR

  • Drowning

  • Shock

  • Broken Bones

  • Spinal injury and moving an injured pet

The course will also cover:

  • Controlling Bleeding

  • Dressings and Bandages

  • Ears, Eyes, and Mouth

  • Bandaging the Ear

  • Poisoning, Bites, and Stings
